Practice-Based Suicide Prevention Centers Meeting


Overview

In 2020, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) launched the Practice-Based Suicide Prevention Research Centers, modeled after the Advanced Laboratories for Accelerating the Reach and Impact of Treatments for Youth and Adults with Mental Illness (ALACRITY) Research Center program. The Practice-Based Suicide Prevention Research Centers are built-in, transdisciplinary analysis packages aimed toward growing, refining, and testing efficient and scalable approaches for lowering suicide charges within the United States. The facilities assist analysis that might not be achieved utilizing normal analysis venture grant mechanisms. The objective of this assembly was to convey collectively the administrators of the seven facilities to supply an summary of every of the initiatives and assist one another obtain their frequent mission.
