About the audio system

Dr. Schwartzman is an assistant professor within the Department of Pediatrics at Keck School of Medicine of USC, a licensed medical psychologist, and Director of the Training and Research to Empower NeuroDiversity (TREND) Lab at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Schwartzman’s analysis program makes use of multimethod approaches (e.g., EEG, eye-tracking, interviews, and many others.) to review despair and suicide danger in neurodivergent youth and younger adults and companions with neurodivergent group members to translate findings into interventions. Her analysis is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, The Saban Research Institute at CHLA, and the Las Madrinas Foundation.

Dr. Berg is an affiliate professor within the Department of Disability & Human Development and the Training Director for the Illinois LEND Program on the University of Illinois-Chicago. Dr. Berg acquired her A.M. (M.S.W. equal) and Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration. Using rigorous strategies which are conceptually grounded within the social mannequin of incapacity, Dr. Berg’s scholarship develops proof to enhance the well being and impartial residing outcomes of youth with ASD and different developmental disabilities.
