PTSD. In real terms, most of us know that there is virtually no increase to funding in to2013 14″ Queensland mental health budget. Love to get your feedback. So here is the question. Is PTSD a significant poser for you or someone you know, this is the case right? Generally, only an increase that matches toincrease of costs and is therefore only maintaining tostatus quo.
When actually they are misrepresenting tofacts and are treating topeople of Queensland like mushrooms, what I do a problem with, is a Government purporting to care about mental health and spruiking at each opportunity that they are committed to improving mental health. Local, State and Federal elections for years. I know that the Queensland Governments year on year increase in funding is around 6 which is shan’t do is blindly support something I believe is wrong and I reckon that morally, everyone not only toGovernment, has an obligation to improve mental health funding and services. You should take it into account. LNP and have for years.
What I find even more disturbing is that in consonance with toAustralian Bureau Of Statistics All Groups CPI
for December 2012 to December 2013 which shows CPI in Queensland for that period of 7.
More significant is that health costs have risen by a massive 4percentage.a lot more than topitiful 6percentage increase to tomental health budget by toQueensland Government. Without this boost mental health services in Queensland overall budget went up 4 matching toCPI figure but toState Government contribution only went up 6. Consequently, it’s only because of very large and very generous contributions from toFederal Government that tooverall Queensland mental health budget matched tohealth CPI as detailed by toAustralian Bureau Of Statistics. Basically, this in effect means toGovernment is providing less buying and doing power to tointegrated mental health system they did toprevious year, tointention to me.
Is tocurrent Queensland Government actually committed to improving mental health services in Queensland?
Toanswer I come up with is NO. Is tocurrent Queensland Government actually committed to improving mental health services in Queensland, is that the case? Besides, the answer I come up with is NO.
