Mental health difficulties have been really general and involve conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, anorexia, anxiety, bi polar disorder, bulimia, depression, hyperactivity, insomnia, mania, narcolepsy, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, paranoia, phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, stress, suicide and Tourette’ CNS stimulants, including DYANAVELXR, ‘amphetamine containing’ products, and methylphenidate, have a big potential for abuse and dependence. Surely, how we think and feel about our lives and ourselves has an impact on our behavior and how we cope in tough times. Assess abuse risk prior to prescribing and monitor for signs of abuse and dependence while on therapy.
Prior to and during treatment assess for cardiac presence disease.
Further evaluate patients who develop exertional chest pain, unexplained syncope, or arrhythmias during DYANAVELXR treatment. Avoid use in patients with famous structural cardiac abnormalities, cardiomyopathy, self-assured heart arrhythmia, coronary artery disease, and similar self-assured heart difficulties. That’s right! Sudden death was reported in children and adolescents with structural cardiac abnormalities and various self-assured heart troubles taking CNS stimulants at advised doses for ADHD. Sudden death, stroke and myocardial infarction been reported in adults with CNS stimulant treatment at considered doses.
CNS stimulants may cause psychotic or manic symptoms in patients without any prior history, or exacerbation of symptoms in patients with ‘preexisting’ psychiatric illness. Prior to treatment, assess for bipolar presence disorder. Monitor weight and height in children during treatment with DYANAVELXR. That’s where it starts getting really serious. CNS stimulants been connected with diet and slowing of growth rate in pediatric patients with ADHD. Treatment may need to be interrupted in children not growing as expected.
